A Note From the Directors
Welcome all to Bikini Bottom! We are so excited to be directing Anchorless Productions and the Friendship Foundation’s The SpongeBob Musical! Our story follows SpongeBob and his best friends Patrick and Sandy as they bravely attempt to stop Mount Humongous, the local volcano, from erupting and destroying Bikini Bottom. Plankton and Mr. Krabs fight to see whose restaurant is superior, and meanwhile, Squidward attempts to find himself through the artistic endeavor of a one-man show. The SpongeBob Musical conveys themes of teamwork and perseverance, illustrating the importance of friendship in tough situations. We can’t wait to share this show with an audience!

Meet the Directors
Sami Bennett
Hi! My name is Sami, and I'm a sophomore at Mira Costa High School. The SpongeBob Musical will be my seventh production with Anchorless; previous shows I've been in include Mary Poppins, Shrek the Musical, Newsies, Moana, Peter Pan, and Finding Nemo Jr. I love to listen to musical soundtracks and music in general, and I'm always going to concerts with my friends. I also love to read fantasy novels and, since I'm on the cross country team at Mira Costa, you'll find me frequently going on runs. I'm so happy to be directing The SpongeBob Musical with one of my best friends, and I can't wait to share everyone with our amazing work!
Annika Waters
Hey! My name is Annika, and The SpongeBob Musical will be my second show with Anchorless Productions! My love for theater started in eighth grade when I took my first ever drama class, and just last year, I was a performance volunteer for Anchorless’ Peter Pan. This year, I'll be a sophomore at Mira Costa High School. In my free time, I love reading, learning different languages, and watching musicals. I am so excited to share this wonderful show with an audience in January!
