A Note From the Directors

We are thrilled to be directing Tangled The Musical with Anchorless Productions and Mychal’s Learning Place! Our story follows a young girl named Rapunzel, who is locked in a tower with only her mother visiting her. She befriends Flynn Rider, a runaway thief who stole the long-lost princess’s tiara and is being chased by the royal guards. Flynn helps Rapunzel fulfill her dream of seeing the floating lanterns that appear each year. Along the way, they encounter a group of ruffians who aid in their escape, but they are soon caught by Max, the royal guards' determined horse. Despite the obstacles, Flynn and Rapunzel remain determined to reach the lanterns. Tangled The Musical highlights themes of self-discovery, determination and friendship!
